Topically in 2020, Cemento was pleased to work on the vast new headquarters building for Astra Zeneca near Cambridge, our works were installed during the 2nd lockdown in November. The ceiling to the main social hub was developed with the designers and required bespoke large format Cemento lightweight panels. These were 4.5M above floor level needing a concealed support framework that was carried from the ceiling above. A total area of 120 Sq metres had to include a hidden hinge and catch mechanism for 10 nr. large panels that could all be swung down to allow access to all the services behind, but then effortlessly hinged back into place and securely click fixed.
