The Expedia Group wanted to echo the brutalist look of their building’s structural walls when they commissioned a re-fit of their offices. So Cemento developed a matching surface for our lightweight panels. Over 800 Sq. M was required across the 2 floors. Curves were a dominate part of the flowing partition plan. We made flooring templates that were screwed down so that the partitioners could build exactly to plan. Copy templates were sent to our Italian manufacturers. Not only did this result in a snag free fit-out, it also meant that the building programme could be considerably concertinaed, as the finished panels were being made while the internal walls were being built.
